Sharpen your fraud fighting skills
The ACFE Edmonton Chapter hosts regularly scheduled professional development breakfast sessions throughout the year in addition to special training sessions. The year starts with a specialized session in October, followed by regularly scheduled breakfast sessions on the first Wednesday of December, February, April, and June. Other special events are announced throughout the year. All events are posted on the Edmonton Chapter website and members are notified in advance of all professional development sessions.
Our goal is to ensure our members are provided high-caliber professional development opportunities, and are able to obtain enough Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits to maintain their Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential. CFE’s must earn at least 20 hours of CPE every 12-month period. At least 10 of these hours must relate directly to the detection and deterrence of fraud and 2 hours must relate directly to ethics.
